Another Tennessee Mom Arrested On Rape Charges

Tiffany A Conwell, 39-year-old woman from Erin, Tennessee, has been indicted for having a months long sexual relationship with 15-year-old a boy.



Conwell, wife and a mother, was charged with aggravated statutory rape in the indictment and was arrested Tuesday, March 6, and was released after posting $10,000 bail.

The victim and his father came to the Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 6 and reported the inappropriate conduct. He said Conwell was a family friend and the relationship with the boy did not become serious until November and continued until February.

According to the indictment, the charge stemmed from a Jan. 16 incident.

The investigator said at this time there is no indication more victims are involved. Investigators said the relationship between Conwell and this 16-year-old boy lasted for about two months, before he got the courage to confide in his parents, and come forward to authorities.

Woman sentenced for sex acts with two young boys

Kimberly Elliott, 27-year-old woman from ewark, Ohio, was accused last November of sexually assaulting two teen boys and providing them with drugs and alcohol. After she plead guilty last wek, Licking County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Marcelain sentenced her to three years in prison.


Elliot, a mother of a 9-year-old boy, admitted that last year between January and September 2010, she gave drugs and alcohol to two 13-year-old boys while her husband was in prison on a felony domestic violence charge. According to her attorney Tom Gordon, Elliot was depressed because her husband was in jail and began drinking and doing drugs. In November 2011 , a boy told a Newark detective and social worker that Elliott engaged in sexual conduct with him almost nightly between March 14, 2009, and March 14, 2010. He also told that Elliott sexually assaulted another 13-year-old boy at the same time, That conduct occurred between Sept. 20, 2009, and Sept. 20, 2010.

Elliott's husband told local news channel that he was “sick and disgusted” over what his wife did and planned to begin divorce proceedings.

Elliott will be able to serve her sentences concurrently, making her eligible for release in three years. She will be required to serve five years of probation and register as a tier-two sex offender when she is released from prison.

Formed teacher sentenced to prison for sex with a teen girl

Julie Gay Correa, 43-year-old former teacher at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School in Moraga, California has been sentenced to eight years in state prison for the sexual abuse of a teen girl between1996 to 1999, beginning when the victim was 14-year-old.Judge Clare Maier decleared Correa a sex offender who had "created an inappropriate environment not only for the victim, but for many middle school girls."Maier also ordered the former teacher and coach to pay nearly $8,000 in restitution to the victim, now 29-year-old Walnut Creek resident Kristen Cunnane.


Correa, who moved to Utah to start a new life as a stay-at-home mom a couple years after Cunnane broke free from her, could have been sentenced to more than 100 years in prison had she not accepted a deal from the Attorney General's Office and pleaded no contest to four felony sex crimes.

Cunnane said that once the sexual abuse began, she was too fearful and ashamed to tell anyone about it. She felt she could not escape Correa, who would watch her high school soccer games from afar with binoculars and would pop up wherever Cunnane was around town. Cunnane said Correa kept tabs on her via a secret cellphone that she provided and instructed her to hide in the hollowed out pages of a Spanish-English dictionary.

She would sneak into Cunnane's family home and hide in her closet, or under her bed. Correa once broke her leg while jumping out of a second-story window to avoid the girl's parents.

Correa told her that if she told anyone, she would commit suicide like Mr. Witters, another teacher at the school. Daniel Witters killed himself in 1996 just as police began investigating numerous molestation allegations.

"I had no other choice. I did not want to lose my family. I did not want to lose my life. I did not want Julie to kill herself," Cunnane said. "I was made to believe I would never have a life beyond Julie's control."

Though she said Correa did contact her after she enrolled at UCLA, the two didn't speak again until 2010, when detectives said Cunnane would need to call her former teacher to build more evidence for a sexual assault case, she said. During those calls and later, in court, Correa admitted to the abuse, referring to her "past connection" with Cunnane.

Mother of 2 admits sex acts with teen boy

Lynnette McIntyre, 44-year-old mother-of-two and teacher's assistant at Centennial High School, Urbana, Illinois, has pleaded guilty to criminal sexual abuse in accordance with a plea agreement specifying she will serve two years of probation.

The allegations against McIntyre, of 2400 block of North Neil Street, Champaign, came to light in February 2010 when the boy’s parents found text messages of a sexual nature on his cell phone. The teen, a student at Centennial, told police that McIntyre was to tutor him and that on at least two occasions last month picked him up at his home and drove him to her apartment. On Jan. 31, after studying, they moved to her bedroom to watch a movie. There, she allegedly performed a sex act on him. Afterwards she sent him text messages of a sexual nature, which his parents found on the phone.

McIntyre pleaded guilty in the end of the November 2011 before Judge Tom Difanis to criminal sexual abuse, a Class 4 felony. She admitted that in January she committed a sex act in her apartment with a 17-year-old male student.

McIntyre will now have to undergo a sex offender evaluation and depending on what it shows, the judge will confirm or reject the plea agreement entered into by her attorney. She'll have to register as a sex offender. A more serious felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse will be dismissed if the judge confirms her sentence at a Feb. 6 hearing.

Husban walked on wife having sex with teen boy on living room floor

Katherine Cervantes, 35-year-old woman from Sellersburg, Indiana, has been arrested and accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy at her house. She faces charges of class B felony sexual misconduct with a minor, class C felony sexual misconduct with a minor and class A misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to documents Cervantes had hosted a small gathering at her house with her daughter’s teenage friends and boyfriend, provided them alcohol. According to prosecutor Brittany Blau, Katherine Cervantes got drunk at some point during the evening "partying with these 14- and 15-year-olds". Her husband had gone bed earlier that evening. During the night on Oct. 22. Cervantes started having sex in her livingroom with one of the 14-year-old boys, her daughter's ex-boyfriend. One other female juvenile were present in the living room when the sex acts with Mrs Cervantes and the young boy occurred, but she was asleep at the time. At some point during the intercourse Cervantes’ husband walked in on them, according to prosecutors.

Female teacher from Brooklyn allegedly had sex with underage strudent while her children were at home

Claudia Tillery, 42-year-old humanities teacher at Middle School 35 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, has been arrested for allegedly bribing a 6th-grade boy with marijuana and alcohol and sexually abusing him for two years.

Tillery was charged with raping her male student last Tuesday. The alleged victim, who is now 14-years-old, allegedly carried on the relationship until recently when he decided to come forward with the information Nov.22.

No sexual activity was known to have occurred on school grounds. Prosecutors said she had sex with the boy in her home and at a Brooklyn motel.

Tillery, who has three children, is being charged with rape, unlawful dealing of drugs and alcohol to a child, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

Tillery was arraigned and released without bail early Thursday morning. Her attorney claims the accuser was arrested several times and is optimistic the case will be dismissed.

Tillery, who has three children, is being charged with rape, unlawful dealing of drugs and alcohol to a child, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
