Destiny Ruth Witte, 32-year-old mother from Lakeland, Florida, who was arrested for sex acts she performed on a a teen boy in public bathroom at Lake Bonny Park, has pleaded guilty to engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy and agreed to two years of community control and 11 years of probation in exchange for that plea.
Witte, who was set to be married in just a couple of weeks after her arrest in July 2012 faced one count of lewd battery on a child under 16 and two counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16.
The victims family became suspicious after seeing Witte spending a lot of time with the child. A relative invited Witte to family home for a chat, and Witte arrived wearing ‘provocative clothes’ and embraced the teen in a ‘very passionate’ manner during the ‘awkward’ meeting. After that local police was contacted and a phone call between the teen boy and older woman was arranged while officers were listening their conversation. When one of the detectives broke into the conversation, the 32-year-old agreed to meet with them and was Witte arrested later that night at her mother’s home.

Before Destiny Witte and the young boy allegedly had sex in the park, they had some kind of relationship going on at least a couple of weeks – they met in person several times and had exchanged several text messages. On that specific day at the park, 32-year-old woman and 14-year-old boy kissed and made out before Witte took the boy to bathroom where they had sex.

Destiny Witte, who has 3 children of her own, later said to police officers that she felt ‘sick to her stomach and realized what she had done was wrong…and would be willing to get counseling or do anything to “make this right”,’ according to the arrest report. Court records show Witte’s lawyer had been seeking to suppress Witte’s interview with police, arguing she had not been properly advised of her rights.

After court hearing, Witte told Bay News 9 that she wasn’t guilty of the crime and took the plea deal to move forward with her life.
“I know what I did and didn’t do, and I’m innocent in this case and this kid knows it,” she said.

Christina Powell, 39-year-old former special education teacher from Middletown, Connecticut, who was arrested in Fenbruary 2012 for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student, has accepted a plea deal she was offered in December.

Powell, of 24 Dobson Circle, is charged with second-degree sexual assault for allegedly having a sexual relationship with one of her students for about two years. The state has extended a plea deal offer to Powell, and Powell entered a guilty plea yesterday morning.

Powell earlier pleaded not guilty on Feb. 22 2012 through her attorney. Police were assigned to investigate a “possible improper relationship” between Powell and a student whom Powell had been teaching from eighth grade at Woodrow Wilson Middle School through 10th grade at Middletown High School, according to the warrant. The victim’s mother reported to police that she was concerned about the relationship between Powell and the victim after allegedly finding out that Powell pretended to be the victim’s mother and signed a juvenile summons for an incident where the victim was charged with shoplifting, according to the warrant. The victim’s mother told police that Powell “was very involved” with the victim since eighth grade. At the time, the mother appreciated the effort, according to the warrant. At one point mother found pair of Victoria Secret “Pink” brand V-string panties under her son matress with a Maloney High School class ring with name “Christine Doyle” carved inside it. Powell admitted to police that both items were hers and that she had given right to the victim.

The boy began babysitting her children in 2010. She would drive the boy and his friends around and signed them passes to be late for class.

In an interview with the police Christina Powell admitted that the relationship with the boy had turned sexual around April 2011, shortly after victims 16th birthday. Powell told that victim had tried to kiss her on mouth and she thought that he were joking, but when he did it again she kissed him back on the mouth, and that victim slipped her hands under her shirt and bra feeling her breasts. After that they “messed around” physically a couple of times before they had actual sex. Second time victim put his fingers in her vagina and “fingered her”. Shortly after those sex acts they began to have actual sex with full intercourse. According to interview, Powell told that she would pick up the teen boy about a once a week and drove him to her house to have sex with her in her bedroom. During the summer they had sex more often, usually several times a week. When the school started again, they were back having sex usually once a week. She also told that everything was consensual and that she never pressured or forced him to do anything.

During the course of the preliminary investigation, Powell had admitted to police that she had sent the boy nude photos of herself via cell phone.

Prosecutors recommended that the judge administer a sentence of five years in prison, to be commuted after 18 months, pending a 10-year probation. Powell would also be compelled to register as a sex offender. A Sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 7.

Lambert, who is a mother of teen girl. told a teen boy to send a pornographic picture of himself to her, attempted to entice a boy to have sex with her and twice drove a boy from Texas to Oklahoma to have sex.

She was remanded into custody at the time of her guilty plea, and her custody was continued following the sentencing hearing. “I’ll forever live with the guilt and shame of what I’ve done,” Shanice Lambert said before U.S. District Judge Mary Lou and begged for a chance to return to her husband and children.

Lambert must register as a sex offender, must not contact the victim and cannot be unsupervised around children who are under the age of 18.

She did her plea under the Alford Doctrine, meaning she does not agree with all the facts alleged by the state’s attorney, but chose to accept the plea deal rather than go to trial. According to Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Barbara Hoffman, Kimmi Bouchard created an environment which allowed her daughter and the minor to be in a relationship and become involved with drugs and alcohol. Hoffman said there are pictures of Kimmi and Loni Bouchard smoking marijuana.

Defence Attorney Jack O’Donnell, who represents both Kimmi Bouchard and her daughter, said Kimmi Bouchard was immature in the way she parented, but knew that teens experiment with drugs and alcohol and tried to make it in a safe environment.

Loni Bouchard was also in court last week, and her case was continued to March 15. She has three cases pending in court, two out of Southington and one out of Clinton.

After her initial arrest in July 2011 for the alleged sex acts with a 14-year-old boy she babysat regularly, local police learned Bouchard had a sexual relationship with a second 14-year-old from Southington and arrested her again in September same year. She faces second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child charges in all instances. In the third case, located in Clinton , she also faces an illegal purchase of alcohol for a minor charge. She allegedly plied boys with alcohol and marijuana allegedly supplied by her mother.

In the arrest warrant affidavit for the July arrest, police said Bouchard referred to a sexual relationship with a boy in November 2010. She met the boy involved in the July arrest in December 2010, when she was hired to babysit him and his siblings at their Southington home, according to the affidavit. According to police records, Bouchard repeatedly stayed over at the home of the boy, and offered him alcohol and marijuana in addition to having sex with him. The boy’s mother eventually discovered their relationship through Facebook messages, she notified police.

In the handwritten notes Bouchard writes about the 'amazing' sex she had with the third boy and professed her love for him, included a notebook with a photo of Justin Bieber on the cover.

Cathleen Balman, 40-year-old mother who worked language arts teacher at Clearwater Middle School, Clearwater,Kansas has pleaded guilty to engaging in a year-long indecent relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Balman was charged in November 2011 with having an sexual affair with one of her students for more than a year.
The married mother-of-two, was alleged to have had the long-running relationship after meeting the student, who was alomst 3 times younger, in one of her English classes.

Investigators say the case began in September after detectives reviewed text and photo messages that had been exchanged between Balman and the student. As the investigation progressed, according to prosecutors, it reportedly became apparent that Cathleen Balman had become engaged in a sexual relationship with the student that spanned several months.

Finally last week Cathleen Balman pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of indecent liberties with a child. Her trial on three counts of indecent liberties with a child was scheduled to start Wednesday. Two of the charges were dismissed as part of the plea bargain.

Balman will be sentenced April 19.

Balman, who taught language arts to eighth-graders for three years prior to her arrest, had joined the school district in 2008 after teaching second-graders for one year at Argonia Elementary School.

On the first night they had sex, the boy told investigators that his friends mother seduced him while saying that he should be 18 and asked if “he could pretend to be 18 for a night,” the affidavit reveals. While acknowledging Crowell likely took advantage given the age disparity, the teen does not feel he was forced and regards the sex was consensual, but acknowledged the fact that “Wendy” may have been taking advantage of the situation. Regardless, Colorado state law prohibits sex with a minor. The age of consent in Colorado is 17, with exceptions for minors less than 17 under certain circumstances. A person commits the crime of sexual assault if he or she is 10 years older than a minor who is 15 or 16-years-old. A person convicted of this crime is guilty of a class one misdemeanor sexual assault. Sexual assault is considered an “extraordinary risk crime,” which allows for a more severe sentence.

According to one of the boys, Hubbs first performed sex acts on him when he was 13-years-old, back in 2008, and continued until recentyl. Hubbs had sex with the boys in her car and hotels. Police say Hubbs used her cell phone to transmit messages and nude photos to the boys who say she gave them money and gifts.
