Freeman was first arrested in the early June after parents of 14-year-old boy came to police claiming Mrs. Freeman has been sexually abusing their son. Shortly afterwards she was re-arrested, as when investigators found out about another possible victim, a 16-year-old boy.
The first alleged sex crime against a child took place on April 10, when the 14-year-old boy was visiting her friends house. When the boy was watching a video with his friend Mrs Freeman told the victim's friend to take the family dog walk outside. After the friend was gone, according to bo,y Freeman allegedly began touching and grabbed him telling "come with me." Older woman then took him upstairs into a bedroom, went into a big closet with him and locked the door before starting to kiss him. She also removed boys pants and fondled his private parts before performing oral sex act on him. She then told him to go back downstairs. After the allege sex abuse Freeman warned the boy many times never to tell anybody about what had happened between them. According to the arrest affidavit, Freeman told the boy that if he told anyone about the incident it could "mess up" his baseball career and could lead to Freeman losing her children to Social Services. The victim also claimed that she told him to talk to her alone about the incident if it "began to bother him."
Both the alleged male victims are friends and members of University High School baseball teams. The boys also knew Freeman's daughter. Lynne Freeman, a stay-at-home mom, participated as a parent volunteer at a Greeley charter school.
In the second case, the 16-year-old boy reported two encounters, the first allegedly occurred in late May at a park in West Greeley where the boy and his friends mother kissed and fondled each other . The second encounter was in June and occured Freeman's basement. During that encounter, Freeman's 13-year-old daughter allegedly walked into the basement bedroom and discovered her mother and the victim in a middle of a sex act.
