West Virginia Mom Performed Oral Sex on Teen Boys

Amanda Jo Barker,32-year-old mother from Mannington, West Virginia, who was arrested in October for allegedly performing oral sex acts to a young boy, was been arrested again on four additional charges.

Investigation of the alleged illegal sex acts was launched after a student reported the alleged sexual assault to the school's assistant principal. The boy told that Barker performed oral sex on him during multiple times he visited her home, on the couch in her living room. Barker's husband was reportedly asleep in a bedroom when the alleged assaults occurred. At one point she asked him if he wanted to go further but he declined "because it felt wrong," the complaint said. After their third encounter they agreed to stop and not to tell anyone.

Amanda Barker initially denied sex acts when she was interviewed, but later admitted to them, according to an arrest affidavit. Barker told during an interview the teen had "a flirting way about him" and her husband and children were in bed when the incidents occurred. She told investigators then that she had never done anything with any other minors.

Since her arrest, police said at least two more victims have come forward. Barker is now also facing three counts of sex abuse by person in trust of a child and one count of soliciting a minor via computer. One of the boys told that his encounters with Barker occurred in her Mannington home during sleepovers. He said she performed oral sex on him while other teens were in the home. the other boy told Scott that Barker "lured" him by texting him naked photos of herself and asking him to send her pictures of his genitalia. The teen said Barker performed oral sex on him in a parking lot, according to State Police.

Barker, a mother of three, is the former freshman cheerleading coach at North Marion High School. The Marion County Board of Education fired Barker in November and barred her from attending any high school event.

Woman Who Had Sex With Teen Boy In Hotel Arrested Again

Leah Lynn McRobie, 36-year-old woman formerly from Penn Township, Pennsylvania and currently living in Baltimore, has been arrested for failing to register as a sex offender.

McRobie was convicted in Maryland of having sex with a 14-year-old boy in 2001 after she was found guilty of having sex with the teen in motel in front of the woman's sleeping children. Her husband was out of the room at the time. The 14-year-old told Howard County police that he had a crush on the woman, who was a neighbor at the Valencia Motel in North Laurel, according to charging documents. In April 2000 McRobie was indicted on charges of fourth-degree sex offense and third-degree sex offense. She was 23 at the time.

Leah McRobie had been living in Penn Township, but when marshals performing checks on the addresses of more than 1,000 sex offenders required to register under the Megan's Law went to her home, they found she no longer lived there and had failed to register at her new address. Service's fugitive task force tracked McRobie to a home in Baltimore, where she was taken into custody last week. She is in jail awaiting extradition, the service reported.

Megan's Law is an informal name for laws in the United States requiring law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders, which was created in response to the murder of Megan Kanka. Individual states decide what information will be made available and how it should be disseminated. Commonly included information are the offender's name, picture, address, incarceration date, and nature of crime. The information is often displayed on free public websites, but can be published in newspapers, distributed in pamphlets, or through various other means.
At the federal level, Megan's Law is known as the Sexual Offender (Jacob Wetterling) Act of 1994, and requires persons convicted of sex crimes against children to notify local law enforcement of any change of address or employment after release from custody (prison or psychiatric facility). The notification requirement may be imposed for a fixed period of time - usually at least ten years - or permanently.
Some states may legislate registration for all sex crimes, even if no minors were involved. It is a felony in most jurisdictions to fail to register or fail to update information.

Lucinda Caldwell Wanted Badly to Have Sex With 12-year-old Boy

Lucinda Rodriguez Caldwell, 41-year-old former teacher from San Antonio, Texas, who was arrested back August 2010 for an alleged sexual relationship with a 12-year-old boy, has been sentenced to ten years in prison for indecency with a child by exposure.

According to prosecutors, Caldwell had an inappropriate relationship with a 12-year-old boy in 2010 while she was a fifth grade teacher at Cable Elementary in Northside I.S.D. where the boy was a student. Female teacher's repeated sexual encounters with minor bot came to light following a high-speed chase in which she let the boy drive her SUV. At about 3 a.m. one morning in July 2010, the father had recognized the teacher's Ford Explorer outside his house after realizing that his son wasn't home. When the father approached the car the SUV sped off and the father pursued in his own car for about 30 miles before both vehicles were pulled over in Hondo. Later the the boy's father took him to police to report the sexual assaults which lead to Caldwell's arrest. The boy then told police that Mrs Caldwell took him to a motel where she forced him to have sexual contact with her. Police confirmed that she checked into a motel at 1:15 a.m.

Both sides also agreed to a 10-year sentence. Lucinda Caldwell reached a plea agreement in October in which she agreed to plead no contest to indecency with child by exposure — a third-degree felony — instead of aggravated sexual assault of a child, which could have resulted in a sentence of up to life. The family was worried about putting the young boy through the emotional ordeal of a trial

After her arrest over two years ago, Caldwell and her two children have moved to Eagle Pass.

Under a plea deal, Caldwell had to give up her teaching license, register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim. The judge retained jurisdiction on the case, meaning she could give Caldwell shock probation after six months in prison.
